DR.APJ Abdul Kalam was a born in 15 October 1931 is a small town called Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu  India. He came from a very poor but honest family. His father Jainulabdeen, was a boat owner and imam of a mosque and his mother Aashima, was a kind housewife. From his childhood, Kalam learned important values like a hard work, discipline, honesty and simplicity.

As a young boy, Abdul Kalam was a very curious and hardworking. To support his family, he sold  a newspapers in after school. Even his family did not have much money, his parents always encouraged him to study well and respect to education. Kalam was not a topper in school, but he was very dedicated and eager to learn. He believed that learning is a more important than marks.

He is a completed in his early education at Schwartz in Higher Secondary School in Ramanathapuram. His teachers noticed his strong interest for science and mathematics and motivated him to dream big. After school, Kalam was studied Physics at St. Joseph’s College  Tiruchirappalli. Later he joined the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) to study in aerospace engineering. During his college days, he faced many challenges and he never gave up. His determination and love for a learning helped his succeed.

APJ Abdul Kalam’s childhood and education show us that poverty is not a barrier to success. Then we hard work, strong values and education, anyone can achieve great heights. Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam is a Missile Man of India. He earned this title because her great work in developing India’s missile and space programs. He is a great scientist, teacher, and the 11th President of India.

Dr.Kalam was born 1931 October 15 Rameswaram in a Tamil Nadu. He be come from a simple family but he had big dreams. From a young age he work a very hard and believed strongly in education and discipline. He studied aerospace engineering and later joined as a India’s space and defense research organizations.

He play a important role in developing missiles like Agni Prithvi, Akash, Trishul and Nag. Because of his leadership in missile technology, India became a stronger in defense. His work helped make India self-reliant in modern weapons and space science.

Dr.Kalam also worked with ISRO and was a key person behind India’s first satellite launch vehicle. He inspired many young scientists and students to dream a big and work for the nation.

In 2002 he be come a President of India. After becoming a President he leaves simple life and stayed connected with students. He believed that youth are future of the our country and often encouraged them to develop creativity, honesty and confidence.

Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam was passed in 27 July 2015 while delivering lecture. That he is no longer with us his ideas, books and life lessons continue to inspire millions of people.

Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam was received many national and international awards for his great service to our country.

Padma Bhushan  received (1981 ) in his outstanding work in science and engineering.

Padma Vibhushan (1990): in exceptional contribution India’s defense and space research.

Bharat Ratna (1997):India’s highest civilian award was given his remarkable service in the nation.

Indira Gandhi Award was National Integration (1997): in promoting unity and harmony in India.

Ramanujan Award (2000) was given his excellence in science and technology.

King Charles II Medal (2007): Given by the Royal Society, UK, for contribution to science.

Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam passed away on 27 July 2015 while giving lecture to students which shows his deep love for teaching till his last breath. He always be remembered a true national hero and his a great scientist and a role model for all Indians.

Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam was a our 11th President of India. He was in President of 2002 to 2007. He was loved by all aged peoples, especially children and students. Because of his kindness and simplicity as people called him the “People’s President.”

As President Dr.Kalam worked honestly and always thought about the future of India. He believed in education science and technology was the keys to making the country strong. He encouraged young people achieve to the  our dream big and work hard to achieve their goals. 

Dr. Kalam was lived a very simple life even when he was President. He did not believe in luxury life and always stayed humble.
