DR.APJ Abdul Kalam was a born in 15 October 1931 is a small town called Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu India. He came from a very poor but honest family. His father Jainulabdeen, was a boat owner and imam of a mosque and his mother Aashima, was a kind housewife. From his childhood, Kalam learned important values like a hard work, discipline, honesty and simplicity.
As a young boy, Abdul Kalam was a very curious and hardworking. To support his family, he sold a newspapers in after school.
